May 8 hail claim deadline: about November 8. Replacement-cost policies release the withheld balance only if the work is finished within six months of the storm. What that means for you →

Registered, Endorsed, Verifiable

Everything on this page is a state credential you can check yourself in about two minutes. That is the point of it — after a hail event, the only claim worth anything is the one you can look up.

Credentials

Oklahoma CIB Registration #80007465.

It is printed on the sign we put in your yard and it is on the state portal. Check ours, and check the other quotes you get — especially the crews that came to you rather than the other way round.

Oklahoma CIB Roofing Contractor Registration

Oklahoma does not issue a roofing "license" the way some states do — it issues a registration through the Construction Industries Board, and it is unlawful to advertise as or work as a roofing contractor without a current one.

Required from July 1, 2026

Residential Roofing Endorsement (HB 1628)

House Bill 1628 added a Residential Roofing Endorsement requirement for residential roofing work, backed by a CIB exam at 70% or better, higher registration fees, and no first-offence warning. Contractors in good standing with the CIB were grandfathered.

$500,000 minimum for residential work

General liability insurance

Oklahoma requires an active roofing contractor performing residential work to carry a certificate of insurance evidencing at least $500,000 of business general liability cover. Ask for the certificate. Any legitimate contractor can produce it in a minute.

Pulled by us, on every job

City of Bartlesville permits

The permit and the inspection are our responsibility, not yours. A contractor who asks the homeowner to pull the permit is asking the homeowner to carry the liability.

Never paid, rebated or waived by us

Your deductible

It is illegal in Oklahoma for a contractor to pay, rebate, absorb or waive any part of your insurance deductible. It is insurance fraud, it is prosecuted, and the money always comes back out of the roof.

Oklahoma Insurance Department: wind & hail

The four questions to ask any roofer knocking on your door.

After May 8 there are a lot of them in Bartlesville. Some are good. These four questions sort them out fast, and a legitimate contractor will answer all four without hesitating.

  • What is your Oklahoma CIB registration number? Then look it up while they stand there.
  • Do you hold the Residential Roofing Endorsement? Required for residential work since July 1, 2026.
  • What is your local address? Not a PO box, not a truck. Where is the shop, and will it be there in three years when the ridge lifts?
  • Are you offering to cover my deductible? If the answer is anything but a flat no, walk away. That is insurance fraud and you would be a party to it.
